GP Out of Hours in North Bristol

Frendoc are recruiting local GPs and Nurses to work out of hours from Southmead. We are scheduled to open the service from 1st October, but training and induction can be done from our current base in Frenchay. Out of hours work by its very nature is well paid. We will offer full training on Adastra.

Frendoc have recently changed the policy on GP registrar training to accommodate those GP Registrars Trainers that wish to bring along their registrars to the out of hours session. Trainers will of course need to be on site and we must limit the registrars to one per session. But in terms of amount of sessions that a trainer can attend there is no minimum or maximum sessions. We will continue to ensure that our structured registrar training session continue both at Southmead (from the contract start date) and Frenchay.

• CV with two clinical references
• GMC number
• Insurance details (MDU/MPS)
• Hep B certificate
• Recent CRB check
• Confirmation of inclusion on a PCT Medical performers list
